Oshawa Military and Industrial Museum

Oshawa Military and Industrial Museum is a military museum in Oshawa housing a large collection of vehicles. It contains around 70 tanks, armored cars, and transport vehicles, with many still in working condition.

The museum began in 1980 when enthusiasts started restoring and collecting Canadian armored vehicles. Starting with nine restored vehicles at Oshawa Executive Airport, it has grown into a larger institution.

The museum displays uniforms, badges, and personal items from soldiers across different periods, showing what daily military life looked like. These objects tell stories of the people who served in the Canadian armed forces throughout the years.

The museum is best visited on weekends when it opens to visitors. It is easy to find and located near the airport, with plenty of parking space available.

The vehicles are regularly borrowed for film and television productions, helping the museum fund its operations. This connection to the entertainment industry keeps the vehicles working and relevant to audiences worldwide.
