Durham Live

Durham Live is a large entertainment complex in Pickering that combines a casino resort, multiple hotels, shopping centers, and performance venues in one location. The site brings together gaming, retail, dining, and live events while continuing to expand with new projects like a film production studio district.

The project began in 2021 with the opening of Pickering Casino Resort, the first major gaming facility in the Greater Toronto Area. Since then, the site has evolved into a larger entertainment destination with additional phases continuing to develop.

The complex features multiple dining establishments, retail spaces, and an arena designed to host concerts, performances, and community events throughout the year.

The complex has extensive parking facilities and is easily accessible by car as it sits along a major route in the greater area. Visitors should plan time to explore different sections since the site is large and spread across multiple zones.

The development incorporates 2,400 slot machines, 94 live table games, and generates over $625 million in annual tax revenues for the region.
