St. Anne Anglican Church

St. Anne Anglican Church is a church building featuring Byzantine Revival design with an octagonal central dome flanked by two bell towers and arched transepts. The interior is decorated with extensive murals covering walls and ceilings throughout the sacred space.

The building opened in 1908 following a design competition won by architect William Ford Howland, who brought Byzantine architectural traditions to Toronto. It was later recognized as a national historic site of Canada for its architectural and cultural value.

The interior walls showcase murals created by Canadian artists that bring color and meaning to the sacred space. These artworks remain central to how people experience the building during visits and services.
