Winter Stadium

Winter Stadium is a sports complex at Université de Montréal with an ice hockey arena seating between 2,460 and 5,000 people depending on the event setup. The facility also includes tennis courts, squash courts, racquetball facilities, training rooms, weight areas, and a running track.

The stadium originated in 1963 when Université de Montréal acquired a building from the Hebrew Association and converted it into a multi-sport facility. A decade later it served as a venue for fencing competitions and portions of the modern pentathlon during the 1976 Olympics.

The stadium is home to the Montreal Carabins, the university's athletic teams, and shapes campus life throughout the year. Students and athletes use this place as a central hub for their training and competition activities.
