Wesley Clover Parks

Wesley Clover Parks is a year-round recreation facility west of Ottawa offering a range of outdoor activities across its large grounds. The park provides spaces for camping, skiing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and soccer alongside instructional programs.

The site was formerly a municipal campground but was transformed into a multi-season recreation facility serving diverse outdoor interests. This conversion expanded its use far beyond its original camping-only purpose.

The equestrian school located here reflects Canadian riding traditions and attracts people interested in horsemanship from across the region. It has become a gathering place for the local riding community.

The park sits about 15 minutes west of downtown Ottawa near the main highway and is straightforward to reach by car. Visitors should note that different activities are available across seasons and conditions can vary greatly depending on weather.

The park hosts two major seasonal events that draw large crowds: an autumn festival featuring thousands of carved pumpkins and a winter light display spectacle. These events have become notable destinations in the region.
