Parc de Dieppe

Parc de Dieppe is a riverfront park along the Saint Lawrence River featuring walking paths, sports fields, and viewpoints overlooking downtown and the harbor. The layout offers spaces for strolling, outdoor recreation, and resting while taking in views of the water and city skyline.

The park was created in 1986 by city authorities to expand public green space in the Ville-Marie district. This initiative reflected efforts to improve quality of life through accessible outdoor recreation areas.

The park serves as a gathering place for neighborhood events and outdoor performances throughout the seasons. You can observe how local residents use the space for socializing and enjoying time with family and friends.

The park is open daily from dawn until midnight and provides free parking along with wheelchair-accessible facilities. The terrain is flat and easy to navigate on foot, with plenty of seating areas for resting throughout the grounds.

An interesting feature is its proximity to Guy's Wave, a river formation where surfers practice their sport within the city limits. This makes it one of the few places where urban river surfers can pursue their activity.
