Sunset Speedway, Racetrack
Sunset Speedway is an asphalt racing track in Innisfil, Ontario, measuring roughly 536 meters in length and designed for tight racing action. Its oval layout allows drivers to maintain speed through turns while different classes like Junior Late Models, Super Stocks, and Late Models compete against one another.
The track opened in 1968 and has grown into an established part of the local motorsport scene over the decades. Since 2015, it has hosted races from the NASCAR Pinty's Series, bringing national-level competition to the venue.
The speedway's name reflects its signature evening races held under lights, which draw people from surrounding communities. For visitors, watching here is as much about gathering with family and friends as it is about the racing itself.
The venue offers ticket purchases online or at the gate, and arriving early is recommended to secure good parking and viewing spots. Access is via local roads, and the site is well-marked with signage from main highways.
The grounds host events beyond the racing calendar such as car shows and community festivals that extend the venue's appeal beyond competition alone. These additional gatherings make it a year-round hub for motorsport fans in the region.
