Wollishofen is a residential district in the southern part of Zurich, situated between Lake Zurich and the Sihl River. The area is home to around 15,600 residents and includes diverse housing, green spaces, and waterfront areas.
The area was originally an independent municipality before being incorporated into Zurich in 1893. Following this merger, it gradually transformed from an agricultural region into a modern residential district.
