The Kunstmuseum Luzern occupies the fourth floor of the Culture and Congress Centre, featuring rotating exhibitions of modern and contemporary art throughout the year.
Founded in 1932, the museum relocated to its current location in 2001 within the Jean Nouvel-designed building after the demolition of its previous structure.
The museum maintains a collection that documents Central Swiss artistic development, presenting five to eight temporary exhibitions annually with works from national and international artists.
Located one minute from Lucerne railway station, the museum offers a range of tickets including the Lucerne Museum Pass for CHF 39, granting access to ten museums.
The Children's Club meets five Saturdays each school year, teaching artistic techniques to participants aged 5-13 through direct experimentation with materials.
