Château

The Château is a 17th-century manor house located at Bahnhofstrasse 5 that now serves as the town hall of Schöftland. The façade displays typical features of Swiss architecture from that period, with ordered window arrangements and solid stone construction.

The building was constructed in 1660 under Wolfgang von Mülinen and changed ownership to the de May family just years later. These early transitions shaped the property's role in the community for centuries to come.
