Château

The Château stands as a prominent historical building with architectural elements characteristic of 17th-century Swiss manor house construction at Bahnhofstrasse 5.

Built in 1660 under the direction of Wolfgang von Mülinen, the property transferred ownership from the Mülinen family to the de May family in 1664.

The structure holds the designation of Class A Swiss cultural property of national significance, demonstrating its substantial contribution to Swiss architectural heritage.

Currently functioning as the town hall of Schöftland, the château serves administrative purposes while maintaining its historical characteristics for public access.
