Place du Marché, also called Grand-Place, is a paved square of over 17,000 m² on the edge of Lake Léman in Vevey, used as a vast car park except on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, when a market occupies part of it. The Grenette, the Théâtre de poche, the Swiss Camera Museum, the former house of Mme de Warens and the Château de l'Aile line its sides, with the Chablais mountains across the water.

The site has hosted markets and fairs since the Middle Ages. From 1801 it was used for military demonstrations by local cadets, and since 1797 it has hosted the Fête des Vignerons every 25 years. A folklore market has been held here each summer since 1968, and the Saint-Martin fair reached its 548th edition in 2017. The square and the adjoining Grenette are listed as Swiss cultural property of national importance.
