The industrial complex includes a main production building, transformer station, and steam engine designed by architect Frédéric Broillet in 1901.

The factory introduced a groundbreaking employee benefit in 1915 by becoming the first Swiss employer to provide workers with two weeks of paid leave.

The building holds Class A status in the Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National Significance, representing early 20th-century industrial architecture.
