Sant'Abbondio Church

Sant'Abbondio Church displays baroque architecture with elaborate decorative elements, three naves divided by rounded arches, and an octagonal bell tower with cupola and spire.

The church was first mentioned in 1372 and underwent major baroque renovations between the 16th and 18th centuries, with the bell tower added in 1570.

Designated as a class A Swiss cultural property of national significance, the church preserves centuries of local religious traditions and community spiritual life.

The church complex includes an ossuary and Via Crucis path, along with an organ originally built in 1912 and reconstructed by Mascioni in 1986.
