Nouveau Monde is a performance venue in central Fribourg housed within a former railway station building. It features a main hall for up to 300 standing guests, a smaller space called Aile Est, plus a cafe and several seminar rooms for different types of events.
The building dates to 1827 when it served as a railway station, before being transformed into a performance space. Its conversion starting in 2007 shows how Fribourg has given historic structures new cultural purposes.
