The St. German Chapel features stone walls, wooden beams, and a pitched roof characteristic of Swiss religious architecture from the seventeenth century.
Built in 1631 by priest German Wetzstein, the chapel received additional funding from Johann Martin Schwytzer who commissioned two side altars between 1634 and 1713.
The main altar painting displays the first accurate representation of Lake Zug and its surroundings, with Saints German, Agatha, and Verena floating above the landscape.
