Centre Nature du Vallon de l'Allondon

The Centre Nature du Vallon de l'Allondon is a nature center and science museum with exhibition halls, interactive spaces for learning, and classrooms for instruction. Footpaths through the surrounding landscape allow visitors to explore the local plants and wildlife directly.

The center was established in 2015 and grew into a regional facility for environmental learning, operated by Pro Natura, Switzerland's leading nature protection group. This organization built the center to place focus on local ecological matters and education.

The center helps visitors understand the local natural world and connects them with the plants and animals living in the Vallon through hands-on activities and observation. The focus is on learning how people can live in balance with the environment around them.

The center opens Wednesday through Sunday with morning and afternoon hours available for exploration at your own pace. The grounds are accessible on foot, with paths designed for visitors of all abilities to move through the site easily.

The facility includes two seminar rooms named Chabot and Sittelle that allow professional groups to meet with modern equipment surrounded by nature. These spaces show how learning settings and work areas can blend together in unexpected ways.
