The beach extends 200 meters along the eastern coastline of Hong Kong, featuring sandy shores and clear waters of Tolo Harbour.
Originally a mudflat, the location underwent transformation into an artificial beach through a government initiative completed in June 2021.
The beach serves as a meeting point for local residents who gather for traditional festivities and community events throughout the year.
The beach provides extensive facilities including changing rooms, showers, food kiosks, outdoor cafes, and parking spaces for visitors.
The beach borders the ecologically significant Ting Kok Mangrove Forest and faces Ma Shi Chau Special Area across the water.
