Museum of Macau, Heritage museum in Santo António, Macau.

The Museum of Macau occupies 2,800 square meters within Fortaleza do Monte, with 2,100 square meters dedicated to exhibition galleries and display areas.

The institution opened its doors on April 18, 1998, following a construction period that began in September 1996 after initial planning in April 1995.

The exhibition spaces present collections of artifacts, photographs, and documents that demonstrate the intersection of Portuguese and Chinese influences in Macau.

Visitors can access the museum daily from 10 AM to 6 PM except Mondays, with complimentary entry for local residents and standard admission fees for tourists.

The museum's location inside a fortress provides visitors with broad views of the city while they explore multimedia presentations and interactive displays about Macau's development.
