Baiyu Mountain, Mountain summit in Lüshunkou District, China
Baiyu Mountain is a summit in Lüshunkou District that rises approximately 130 meters above Dalian's urban landscape. The peak offers views across the Naval Port and Tiger's Tail Peninsula, accessible via hiking trails and paved roads.
The location was renamed in 1880 following a visit by Li Hongzhang and Prince Chun during the Qing Dynasty, having previously been known as Xiguan Mountain. A distinctive tower was built later at the summit to commemorate the era.
The Baiyu Mountain Tower, built in 1909 by Japanese forces, stands at the summit as a memorial structure with historical connections.
You can reach the summit on foot using clearly marked trails that are well-maintained for the climb. Information boards are positioned along the route to enhance your visit.
A notable tower crowns the summit, built through substantial construction effort over an extended period, adding a striking structure to the peak. This building remains the focal point when visiting the site today.
