The name Geleshan derives from ancient stories about Yu the Great and traditional festivals that celebrated successful flood control measures in the region.
The Geleshan Martyr's Mausoleum within the park functions as both a cultural exhibition hall and a memorial site dedicated to regional development contributors.
The park operates daily from 08:00 to 18:00 with free admission, offering activities such as cable car rides, rock climbing facilities, and forest obstacle courses.
