Hasičské muzeum, Firefighting museum in Přibyslav, Czech Republic.

Hasičské muzeum occupies multiple halls within a Renaissance castle in town and displays firefighting equipment spanning from early hand-operated devices to contemporary tools. The collection traces how fire prevention and response methods have evolved over time through these preserved artifacts.

The museum opened in 1983 following major restoration work on the castle. This renovation project involved substantial investment and the dedication of many volunteer workers to prepare the space.

The exhibition space includes the CTIF International Cooperation Hall, presenting firefighting uniforms and equipment from different countries across the globe.

The museum welcomes visitors during warmer months except on Mondays, while visits outside the main season need to be arranged beforehand. Plan your trip accordingly if you are arriving during the colder time of year.

The museum preserves over 3,500 square meters of display space showing both historical artifacts and current fire prevention equipment side by side. This contrast reveals how firefighting has transformed from manual craft to modern professional practice.
