The educational complex consists of 62 classrooms, laboratories, teaching kitchens, therapy practice rooms, computer facilities, and sports halls spread across multiple buildings.

The northern wing started in 1951 as a trade school, then transformed into a healthcare and social professions institution following German reunification in 1996.

The school prepares 1400 students in 64 classes for careers in healthcare, social services, and laboratory sciences under the guidance of 70 teachers.

Students reach the campus directly via tram line 2, accessing specialized facilities including physiotherapy rooms, massage areas, and ergotherapy workshops.

The 2005 extension connects to the protected main building through a glass corridor, combining modern educational spaces with historical architecture.
