Weiterstadt

Weiterstadt is an urban municipality in the Darmstadt-Dieburg region, extending across approximately 34 square kilometers northwest of Darmstadt. The town is divided into five districts and sits at roughly 105 meters elevation.

The settlement evolved from an agricultural area into a modern urban municipality and became integral to the development of the Hesse region. This transformation occurred gradually over decades, reshaping the economic and social structure of the area.

Braunshardt Castle anchors community life and serves as a gathering place for local events and celebrations. The five districts each maintain their own festivals and social traditions, shaping how people come together throughout the year.
