Flens-Arena

The Flens-Arena is a multipurpose hall in Flensburg with approximately 6,500 seats organized in various sections and blocks for different event types. The building offers flexible space configurations that can accommodate sports competitions, concerts, and trade fairs.

The hall opened in 2001 under the name Campushalle and received its current name in 2012 when the Flensburg Brewery became the main sponsor. This renaming marked an important turning point in the building's history and its significance to the local community.

The venue is primarily known as the home court of the SG Flensburg-Handewitt handball team and regularly draws fans to exciting matches. Beyond sports, it hosts concerts, exhibitions, and university celebrations that make the building a versatile gathering place.

The hall is accessible without barriers and has dedicated parking spaces near the entrance for visitors with mobility needs. Wheelchair spaces are located behind Block K on the main level and provide good views of the event action.

The building sits on the Flensburg University campus and also houses a fitness center and specialized rooms for sports students. This integration with the university sets it apart from isolated stadiums and makes it part of the local academic life.
