The Alte Apotheke is a German restaurant housed in a historic building in Altkötzschenbroda with exposed wooden beams and regional architectural features from the Saxon tradition. The building was established in 1720 when pharmacist Irmler opened his pharmacy there. Later the space served as a wine cellar, grocery store, and coal trading business before becoming a restaurant.
