Riedstadt-Goddelau station

The Riedstadt-Goddelau station operates on the Mannheim-Frankfurt railway line and the Darmstadt-Worms railway, serving regional and S-Bahn connections in Hesse.

The station began operations on April 15, 1869, under the name Goddelau-Erfelden, serving the districts of Goddelau and Erfelden in the Grand Duchy of Hesse.

The station structure maintains its status as a protected cultural heritage monument, representing the architectural design principles of 19th-century German railway buildings.

The station provides regular service through Regional-Express line RE 70 from Mannheim to Frankfurt Central Station and S-Bahn line S7 with departures every 30 minutes.

From 1870 to 1900, the station connected to the Worms-Rosengarten train ferry across the Rhine River before the construction of a permanent bridge.
