Dettelbach

Dettelbach is a town in the Kitzingen district of Lower Franconia, located on the Main river. The historic old town features half-timbered buildings from multiple centuries, while residential areas spread toward the outskirts.

Dettelbach was founded in the Middle Ages and developed as a trading settlement on the Main. The town experienced its peak prosperity during the early modern period when wine production and trade became major economic activities.

The town is easily accessible via the B13 federal highway and the A3 motorway, with parking available near the center. The pedestrian zone in the old town is compact and easy to explore, with shops and cafes scattered throughout the streets.
