Kreuzberg, Mountain summit near Bischofsheim an der Rhön, Germany.

The Kreuzberg mountain reaches 927.8 meters in elevation, making it the highest point in the Bavarian section of the Rhön Mountains region.

The mountain, formerly known as Aschberg, contained a sacred ash tree during pre-Christian times before becoming a spiritual center in 686.

The Franciscan monastery, established in 1644 near the summit, maintains a brewery producing three beer varieties throughout the year.

The northern side of the mountain features three ski lifts and multiple marked trails, allowing visitors to enjoy both winter sports and hiking.

The mountain houses a broadcasting facility with a 208-meter-high transmission mast that replaced the original 156-meter structure from 1951.
