Laubach

Laubach is a town in the Gießen region made up of several villages spread across fields and woodlands. The castle with its towers and fortified walls sits at the center, surrounded by a park with a lake and open green spaces.

The castle was founded in the thirteenth century and remained the seat of the Solms-Laubach family across generations. Over the centuries, the location grew from a fortified stronghold into a larger settlement.
