Wismar Archdeaconry, Medieval ecclesiastical building in central Wismar, Germany.

The Wismar Archdeaconry is a two-storey brick Gothic building at St.-Marien-Kirchhof 3, originally twice as long as it is today. Its north side has a three-part stepped gable crowned with pinnacles, and the upper storey's six-axis eaves side is divided by small windows in blind niches. The building decoration consists mainly of glazed bricks and moulded stones.

Built shortly after 1400 as the Kapellanei Unserer Lieben Frauen, a chaplaincy modelled on the Alte Schule destroyed in 1945, the brick building was originally twice as long. Dendrochronology in 2008 and 2009 corrected the earlier dating to the mid-15th century. Restored 1880–1885 on the initiative of Johann Joachim Hartwig Meyer, it was badly damaged in 1945 and rebuilt 1962–1963 from old plans, with the south gable simplified.

The house was built as the Kapellanei Unserer Lieben Frauen, a chaplaincy of St. Mary's, and later served the archdeaconry's administration. Its interior now holds the Landessuperintendentur of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Mecklenburg and a meeting place for children and young people. Alongside St. Mary's tower it is the last medieval building on the Marienkirchplatz.

The building stands at St.-Marien-Kirchhof 3, beside the Marienkirche tower on the Marienkirchplatz. Its entrance and staircase were moved from their original position during the renovation, so the doorway you use is not the medieval one. The interior now houses the Landessuperintendentur of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Mecklenburg and a meeting place for children and young people, so access follows the church office's arrangements.

Dendrochronological tests in 2008 and 2009 dated the timber to shortly after 1400, decades earlier than the mid-15th-century date long assumed. The building was originally twice its present length, and the south gable was rebuilt in simplified form after wartime damage. Look for the stepped north gable topped with pinnacles.
