Märchenbrunnen, Baroque revival fountain in Friedrichshain, Germany.
The Märchenbrunnen spans 34 by 54 meters with four cascading waterfalls, one central fountain, nine smaller fountains, and multiple frog sculptures.
Constructed between 1901 and 1913 under architect Ludwig Hoffmann's direction, the fountain suffered damage in World War II and underwent restoration from 1972 to 1983.
The fountain features 106 sculptures depicting traditional German fairy tales, including Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Located at the southwestern entrance of Volkspark Friedrichshain, the fountain operates from spring through autumn and remains open until 10 PM daily.
Seven water-spouting frog sculptures reference the Frog Prince story, while the structure incorporates travertine, limestone, sandstone, and wrought iron materials.
