Staatstheater Nürnberg

The Staatstheater Nürnberg is an opera house and cultural venue in Nuremberg designed in the Art Nouveau style. The building features two main halls and several smaller performance spaces for different types of shows.

The building was designed by architect Heinrich Seeling between 1903 and 1905, opening on September 1, 1905 with Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nuremberg. It developed into one of Germany's leading venues for opera and orchestral performances after its founding.
