Tempodrom, Multi-purpose hall in Kreuzberg, Berlin
The Tempodrom features two performance spaces with a total capacity of 3,900 people within its white tent-shaped concrete structure near Potsdamer Platz.
Founded by Irene Moessinger in 1980 as a circus tent near the Berlin Wall, the venue relocated multiple times before settling in its current location in 2001.
The venue hosts German Masters snooker tournaments, international music concerts, circus performances, and theatrical productions throughout the year.
Located at Möckernstraße 10-25, the Tempodrom includes a bistro, office spaces, and seasonal outdoor areas for guests attending events.
The building stands on the former site of Anhalter Bahnhof, incorporating circular configurations that pay tribute to its original tent design.
