Kuhstall

Kuhstall is a natural sandstone formation that creates a large arched opening rising from a green, forested setting. The opening is wide enough for hikers to pass beneath and through it, with the rock appearing as if sculpted by ancient geological forces over millennia.

The formation served as shelter during troubled times when people sought protection within its stone walls. This use shaped the location as a place of refuge in the region's challenging past.

Few visitors know the name comes from shepherds who reportedly used the space to shelter livestock during bad weather. This practical origin remains part of the place's identity even today.
