Bonifatiuskloster, Catholic monastery in Hünfeld, Germany

The Bonifatiuskloster contains a three-nave basilica with double towers and decorated facades, designed by architect Arnold Güldenpfennig in the Romanesque style.

The monastery, established in 1895 at Hünfeld's town hall, expanded into an educational center that trained over 2000 missionaries during its first decades.

The monastery church displays intricate stained glass windows created by artist Agnes Mann, depicting the four Evangelists and religious narratives.

The facility accommodates 150 guests across two buildings and receives 15,000 visitors annually for retreats, prayer sessions, and spiritual guidance programs.

Between 1914 and 1919, the monastery served as a reserve hospital, and after Nazi confiscation in 1941, American soldiers helped return sacred objects in 1946.
