Schloss Freudenberg contains over 100 interactive stations where visitors explore natural phenomena including balance, gravity, light, darkness, sound, and resonance.
The villa, designed by architect Paul Schultze-Naumburg in 1904, transformed from a private residence into a casino, children's home, and military facility through the decades.
The educational center focuses on developing sensory perception through hands-on experiences, following the philosophy established by Hugo Kükelhaus in the 1990s.
The park opens Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, weekends and holidays from 11 AM to 6 PM, with special hours during Hessian school holidays.
The Dunkel-Bar restaurant serves meals in complete darkness, with both visually impaired and sighted staff guiding guests through their sensory dining experience.
