Burg Linau

The remaining structure of Burg Linau features a round tower with walls measuring three meters in thickness, demonstrating medieval defensive architecture.

First documented in 1291 as Linowe, the castle belonged to the Scharffenberg family until their expulsion in 1349 following a three-week siege.
