Business-Tower

The Business Tower is a 34-story office building standing 135 meters tall with a distinctive double-shell glass facade. The structure houses around 1,000 workplaces for multiple companies within its floors.

An architectural competition launched in 1992 led to construction beginning in 1996 and completion in 2000. The building emerged during a period of economic transformation for the city.

The tower has become a landmark for the city's modern business district and is recognizable from many parts of Nuremberg. Its presence shapes how locals and visitors perceive the contemporary side of the city.

The building is easily visible from outside and stands out as a modern structure on the city edge. Access to interior spaces may be limited as it is primarily an active workplace.

The foundation rests on 52 concrete piles driven through 20 meters of sand down to solid sandstone bedrock. This engineering approach allows the tower to safely support its significant weight.
