Colombischlössle Freiburg, Archaeological museum in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
The Colombischlössle houses archaeological exhibits in a neo-Gothic mansion with a glass cupola roof and detailed parquet flooring throughout its interior spaces.
Built between 1859 and 1861 by architect Georg Jakob Schneider, the mansion served as residence for Duchess Maria Antonia Gertrudis von Zea Bermudez y Colombi.
The museum displays regional artifacts from the Stone Age through late Antiquity, including bronze moon idols and discoveries from Celtic royal tombs.
Located at Rotteckring 5, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with admission prices of 4 euros for adults.
The basement contains a treasure chamber featuring Alemannic grave relics, while the surrounding English garden displays exotic plants and sculptural fountains.
