Deutsches Marinemuseum Wilhelmshaven

The Deutsches Marinemuseum Wilhelmshaven is a naval museum in Wilhelmshaven that documents German maritime military history. The collection spreads across indoor exhibition spaces and an outdoor area with three ships: a guided missile destroyer, a submarine, and a minesweeper.

The museum opened in 1998 in a workshop from the 1880s that originally belonged to the Imperial Naval Shipyard. The industrial hall once produced naval equipment before being converted into a public exhibition space.

Visitors see uniforms, ship models, and personal items from sailors that show daily life and traditions aboard naval vessels. These objects offer insight into how crews lived and worked during their service at sea.
