Dorfkirche Baabe is a Lutheran church in the village of Baabe featuring traditional architectural elements typical of rural churches in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The building displays simple, functional forms characteristic of regional church construction.

Baabe belonged to the parish of Middelhagen until the resort's growth led Pastor Medenwald to hold open-air services. The foundation stone was laid on 11 July 1929; Berlin architect Erhard Schmidt, a regular spa guest, designed the Expressionist church, built by Albert Ewert and consecrated on 24 June 1930. In 1933 two oaks were planted before it, rededicated in 2000 to peace, freedom and democracy.

The church keeps the memory of Pastor Medenwald's open-air services in the growing seaside resort, and an outdoor pulpit on the south-east corner recalls that tradition, though it has probably never been used. Since 2000 the two oaks in front of the church have been dedicated to peace, freedom and democracy.

The church stands on the northern edge of Baabe, a few minutes' walk from the Baltic beach and the resort centre. It is kept open from Easter to October. The entrance is on the north side, through a porch with three pointed-arch openings; the paved semicircular approach leads to it.

An outdoor pulpit stands at the southeast corner of the church, a reminder of the open-air services Pastor Medenwald held for Baabe's growing number of bathing guests before the building existed. According to the sources, it has probably never been used since the church was consecrated in 1930.
