The Baden-Württemberg Higher Labor Court is an appellate court in Stuttgart that handles appeals in employment law cases. The court reviews decisions from lower labor courts across several districts within the state.

The court was established after World War II as part of Germany's legal system restructuring, creating specialized institutions to handle employment disputes. This approach allowed employment law matters to be processed consistently across the country.

The court's Mannheim and Freiburg chambers trace back to separate courts founded in 1947 and June 1949; the five regional labor courts were merged by the 1956 law on labor courts, which first placed the seat in Tübingen before the 1972 move to Stuttgart. Its founding president Otto Rappenecker had led the Freiburg court since 1949.
