St. Albertus Magnus, Modern Catholic church in Brunswick, Germany
The church structure combines a concrete skeleton with red brick walls, featuring a three-aisled hall and a wooden net-like ceiling pattern.
Architect Hans Joachim Lohmeyer designed the church in 1956, and Bishop Heinrich Maria Janssen consecrated the building on August 10, 1958.
The interior contains artworks by multiple artists, including Gisela Bär's bronze figure and Gerd Winner's altar painting 'Kreuztrilogie Rosenkranz'.
The church compound encompasses a parish office, a kindergarten established in 1963, and spaces for youth activities with 85 active altar servers.
The church functions as both a parish church and monastery church for the Dominican order, holding regular peace prayers for Ukraine.
