Ore Mountain Toy Museum, Seiffen, Toy museum in Seiffen, Germany
The Ore Mountain Toy Museum displays 5,000 traditional wooden toys across three floors, presenting local craftsmanship from the Erzgebirge region.
The museum originated from a wooden toy exhibition in 1914 at the Albert Salon, which included a Noah's Ark containing 300 miniature animals.
The museum collection features traditional designs of skittles, musical toys, carousels, building sets, and doll rooms from Saxon toy manufacturers.
Visitors can access the museum daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with dedicated facilities for wheelchair users throughout all exhibition areas.
The museum houses the largest show pyramid in the world, measuring 6.3 meters in height and exemplifying regional woodworking expertise.

Saxony offers remote locations away from tourist paths. The region features medieval villages, natural areas and cultural sites. Kriebstein and Moritzburg castles display German architecture from different periods. The Elbe Sandstone Mountains contain granite formations and hiking trails. Königstein Fortress stands above the Elbe River. Technical monuments like the Göltzschtal Bridge and historical museums complete the offer.
