Kurschattenbrunnen is a fountain on Brunnenstrasse in Bad Wildungen, built in 1987. Its centre is a group of standing nude figures, the 'Menschenknoten', with water spouts below them; steps lead up to the base, which is surrounded by basins holding further bronze figures, including an older bather and a woman in a slit skirt, blouse and heels.

The fountain was inaugurated in 1987 as a new artistic addition to Bad Wildungen. Its construction connected the old town with the spa district, reflecting the town's investment in its public spaces during that period.

The fountain's name comes from the "Kurschatten", a spa-town term for a holiday romance. The bronze woman striding past in a slit skirt, blouse and heels was modelled on sculptor Karin Bohrmann-Roth, who created the fountain with Georg Roth and Hans-Ulrich Plaßmann. Her figure is among the most photographed motifs in Bad Wildungen and is sold as a chocolate model.

The fountain is located on Brunnenstrasse and serves as the center point of the spa promenade. Walking trails in the surrounding area are easily accessible from this location and well marked.

The sculptor Karin Bohrmann-Roth modelled the striding woman in the slit skirt and hat herself; she created the fountain with Georg Roth and Hans-Ulrich Plaßmann. The woman is among Bad Wildungen's most photographed subjects and is sold as a chocolate model.
