Designed by architect Kurt Bärbig and opened in 1927, the building served as headquarters for the Konsumverein Vorwärts Dresden until 1990.
The structure represents early twentieth-century industrial architecture and reflects the cooperative movement that shaped Dresden's commercial development.
Located on Fabrikstraße 13, the building contains underground tunnels connecting different sections and includes an extensive garage facility.
The meat processing facility incorporated advanced production methods within its W-shaped structure, demonstrating industrial innovation of the 1920s.
