Nossener Brücke, Road bridge and street in Dresden, Germany
The Nossener Bridge consists of four connected road bridges extending approximately 700 meters, forming a section of Dresden's outer city ring.
First constructed in 1889 as Hohenzollern Bridge, the structure underwent reconstruction between 1959 and 1964 to meet increasing traffic demands.
The bridge received its name from the Saxon town of Nossen, where the Altzella monastery stands, after temporary naming as Bridge of Youth during GDR times.
The four-lane bridge carries federal road B173, connecting Löbtau district with the intersection of Budapester Street and Nürnberger Street.
Plans include integrating tram line 7 and constructing a new S-Bahn station beneath the bridge structure during its upcoming renovation in 2025.
