Steintor, Medieval city gate in Anklam, Germany.
The Steintor stands 32 meters tall and features a stepped gable design with three distinct levels constructed from solid stone materials.
Built around 1300, the Steintor underwent modifications in the 15th century when three additional floors were added to increase its height.
The structure serves as the Museum in Steintor since 1989, presenting exhibitions about regional history and local heritage to visitors.
Located at Schulstrasse 1 in Anklam, the Steintor offers guided tours and educational programs through its museum facilities.
Among the original four gates of Anklam's medieval fortifications, the Steintor remains the sole surviving structure since 1846.
