Kloster Adelberg

Kloster Adelberg is a former monastery with an important chapel and valuable art collections in Württemberg. The complex contains buildings from several centuries as well as a collection of altars and artworks from the Gothic and Renaissance periods.

The monastery was founded in 1178 and quickly grew into a wealthy institution in the region. Over the centuries it underwent several rebuilding and renovation phases that shaped its current form.
