Goethebrunnen, Cultural heritage monument and water well in Bad Berka, Germany.

The Goethebrunnen is a stone fountain structure in Bad Berka surrounded by green spaces and walking paths. The installation sits within a spacious park featuring maintained walkways and seating areas that invite visitors to pause and take in the surroundings.

The site was built between 1922 and 1924 and became a central element of Bad Berka's development during that period. Its creation took place when spa towns were expanding their infrastructure and public amenities.

The fountain takes its name from German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and connects the site to Germany's literary heritage. The installation shows how the town preserves and celebrates its connection to cultural history through such monuments.

The fountain is located at Goetheallee 3 and is easily accessible from the street. The park and its paths are well suited for a walk on foot without requiring special arrangements or preparation.

The fountain draws from natural mineral springs that gave the town its significance as a spa destination. These underground water sources were deliberately incorporated into the site's design, making it far more than just a monument.
